Description of the property

Our apartment is very large by Parisian standards (175sq.m. ) and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people + one baby. It has 4 bedrooms (the Master's bedroom has a king size bed), a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bath, another one with shower and 2 restrooms. It has wi-fi, full HD TV (with Netflix), washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, Instant pot, Thermomix, piano, etc. Many CDs, DVDs and books in the apartment, for all ages, in English and in French. We also have plenty of toys, board games, etc. We can arrange a cleaning service and/or English-speaking babysitting on request.
PLEASE NOTE: NO PARTY OR LARGE MEETING IN OUR APARTMENT : our building is quiet and must stay so... Please let us know from the start how many people who will come in the apartment.
Since the apartment is large and we want to prepare it really well for our guests, we usually prefer arranging exchanges for 4 nights or more. It is our primary residence, which means that most wardrobes will not be empty, but you will have everything you possibly need during your stay in terms of utensils and appliances.
This is a strictly non-smoking apartment but you can smoke in the inner yard.

You'll get all of the excitement and culture of Paris, in a family-friendly, green and relaxing neighbourhood. Iconic Canal St Martin and Bassin de la Villette, just around the corner, are mostly pedestrianed, both hip and very family-friendly, with a nice promenade along the water, many playgrounds (outdoor and indoor) and numerous parks around. This location combines very good accessibility (4 lines just around the corner: the Louvre, which is right in the center of Paris, is is only 15 mn away by metro, the Galeries Lafayette 10mn, Châtelet 15 mn, Montmartre 10 mn, Gare du Nord 5 mn) with a very quiet, relaxing and leisure-oriented atmosphere, along the water or in the adjacent parks (Buttes-Chaumont and La Villette). Several metro and bus stations at 3mn walk, 2 train stations at 10mn walk. During summer, Paris-plages offers so much to do for all ages - as well as a free open-air swimming pool.
