Description of the property
Connected to the city center and the train station by the tramline, the house was renovated in 2011 and 2022 and is located in a quiet neighborhood, between the cemetery and a big park with a great castle.
You will find :
- on the main floor, and equiped kitchen connected to the dining and living room ; the main bedromm (160-cm wide bed) a bathroom, a shower, a toilet;
- on the upper floor, two spatious bedrooms with individual beds (and a baby bed with bars), a mini bathroom with small shower, and a toilet ;
- on the lower and half burried floor, a bedroom (140-cm wide bed), a big living room/office with a sofa bed, a laundry room/toilet, and our cellar !;
- an 80 m² yard/garden;
- a driveway in which 2 cars fit in a row;
- at the back of the yard, a hangar that you can lock your car in.

Directions
The main floor is accessible via 7 steps. It offers everything one needs (bed, toilet, bathroom, kitchen) and every staircase has railings on both sides. But the house is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly. You can leave a pushchair/stroller in the hangar in the backyard.
Neighborhood
Nantes is a fast-growing city with a great heritage (medieval district and castle, triangular trade past and memorial, the formely industrial -and now home of the Great Articulated Elephant- island formed by the Loire river in-fillings from the 30's) and an intense cultural life (many museus, national and regional venues, great night life...).
Set on the junction of 3 rivers (the Loire, the Erdre, the Sèvre nantaise), it is a land of contrasts, mixing its harbour-city past, a bourgeois pleasure-sailing tradition, and a market gardening countryside.
You can also visit its wine-growing region (see the town of Clisson and its belliquous history).
Nantes is a car or train ride away from the Atlantic ocean, nearby famous coastline towns like Pornic, La Baule, or Les Sables d'Olonne.

Further information
You'll have to grant her permanent access to her automatic food ditributor in the basement, where her catdoor also is. We also ask that you change daily change her water bowl. She is an easily frightened cat who never hurt anybody, inclusing our own children to whom we ask that they let her be in peace.

We are a french-american couple with a son born 2019 and a daughter born 2021.
Our research
We are looking for a place my husband, who wear braces, will be able to navigate his way without too many obstacles - ideally the bedroom is on the same floor as the toilet and shower.
But also a kid-friendly place : you can count on both parents' watchful eyes but only mommy will be able to run after them !
