Description of the property
Our apartment is located in a modern, quiet and well maintained residency. There's a large living room, 3 bedrooms : master bedroom with 160 bed, another bedroom with single bed, and children's bedroom with bunk beds (we also have a lots of games and toys...). We have two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso, etc) where you can eat.
Its main asset is a large south facing terrace on the 8th floor, overlooking the garden, with view of the Sacré-Cœur (Montmartre church), where you can eat too !
We also have underground parking, a terrific house cleaner who comes once a week, and a babysitter if you need !

Neighborhood
We live in a family neighborhood (parks and pool nearby), with many nice shops, bars and restaurants.
It's well served by public transport : 2 bus lines (60 and 95) and a bike station just oustide the building, and 3 subway lines (4,12,13 ). This is a very nice area with a real village spirit, that our visitors appreciate (especially with the places listed in our personal guide).
Views : Montmartre, Pigalle, the Place Clichy, are 15 minutes on foot, and one of the bus passing at the foot of the building will take you directly to the center of Paris : the main shopping area (Grands magasins), the Louvre, or Saint Germain des Prés, for example!
Shopping : two markets (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday), several supermarkets (including two at the foot of the building), and many traders close: we have a detailed map with all our favorite places to shop for all days or buy great products ...

Research
Who are we ?
François (47 years, astrophysicist) and Alexandra (46 years, webmaster) have been exchanging our home for almost 15 years, and we are fans of this type of holiday, which allows us to travel light and to discover other way of living "from inside" .
We share the love to travel and discover new places and cultures, with Hannah, 9, and Lucien, 6 years old who lend their rooms and toys with plaisir.
We have done many exchanges in France (Brittany, Vendee, Normandy, Toulouse, Bordeaux,...), and abroad (London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires,Copenhagen, Stockholm, Cordoba ...) and it became our usual way of travelling since we have never been disappointed !
We like feeling like "at home " and we enjoy the good advice of our guests, and take care of their home and goods.

#110. Formidable séjour chez Alexandra et François et enfants
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Paris grâce à Alexandra et François. Nous ne nous sommes pas vus, mais nous avons été accueilli chez eux de façon très chaleureuse, avec un repas tout prêt, plein plein plein de documentation touristique, des cartes pour la bibliothèque...!
L' appartement est très agréable, bien chauffé, ensoleillé, avec une vue sur la butte de Montmartre et on voit même un bout de la Tour Eiffel. Mon épouse et moi avons pleinement profité de la belle collection de livres et de films, nos enfants se sont régalés avec tous les jouets. L'appartement est très confortable, silencieux et (très) bien sécurisé.
Juste devant l'immeuble il y a un bus qui mène directement au Louvre, Montparnasse, porte de Versailles (pour le Salon d'Agriculture - un évènement à ne pas rater si vous êtes là) et il y a trois lignes métro à proximité... situation idéale!
La communication avec Alexandra et François s'est très bien passée, aussi bien avant l'échange, pour se mettre d'accord sur les dates, les clés etc., que pendant notre séjour, avec des suggestions de visite, des conseils pratiques...
Nous avons retrouvé notre appartement dans un état impeccable.
Tout incite à renouveler l'expérience... Merci, Alexandra et François!
