#1072. Summer 2019 house swap in Velizy (near Versailles)
We had a lovely (if hot!) week in Velizy this August. We went to France Miniature (model village with rides), into Paris for the day (took about 50 mins to get to the Eiffel Tower), and to the Versailles palace and gardens.
The house has a bedroom plus en suite on the top floor attic room, three bedrooms on the 1st floor plus bathroom and a bedroom/ office on the ground floor with ensuite. There is a garden with swings which the kids liked and we appreciated the shade in the heat of the day. There are chickens to feed but they were v quiet (no early morning cock-a doodle-doos!). There is also a nearby woods/ forest which was a lovely escape from the heat too. Elodie and her family left our house in a good condition.
