Description of the property
Our home is a 2 bedrooms apartment. It is about 77m² (830 sq ft), with a large living room (30 m²-320 sq ft), a separate kitchen, a bathroom with tub and separate toilet. Located on the 14th floor of a 16-floors building, it features an amazing panoramic view of the Paris skyline.
One bedroom is equipped with a queen size double-bed and the second one with a single bed. Moreover, there is a convertible (double-bed) sofa in the living-room, an extra mattress (1 pers) in the child's room and an inflatable mattress (1 pers) if necessary.
There is a large garden space reserved for building occupants, a pleasant place for children or to organize picnic lunch.
A cleaning lady is coming once a week, except in late July and in August.
We don't smoke, but both non-smokers and smokers are welcome at home.

Directions
Subway station (line #2) available within 2 minutes walking (Alexandre Dumas or Philippe Auguste), 2 stations to Nation (a lot of subway lines and RER to Disney etc…).
Very easy to reach from the airports (both Orly and Charles-de-Gaulle) and from the train stations (gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, gare du Nord, gare de l'Est, Saint-Lazare) and all points of interests are very easy to reach.
Neighborhood
Our apartment is located in a nice district of the 20th arrondissement of Paris that has been identified as one of the 10 coolest neighbourhoods in Europe by the Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/travel/2020/feb/08/10-of-the-coolest-neighbourhoods-in-europe-paris-berlin-rome?utm_term=Autofeed&CMP=twt_gu&utm;_medium=&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1581149783).
There are several supermarkets within 5 minutes walking and an open market on the street below (Wednesday and Saturday morning).
Many restaurants and cafés in the surroundings.

Who are we ?
Ronan and I (Emmanuelle) are in our late fifties. Our child (18-years old) no longer travels with us systematically. We like to spend time with family and friends, eat and drink well, travel, meet new people and discoveries, share our tips, exhibitions, museums, cinemas, concerts, swim, ski and many other things!
We've been swapped via several exchange sites for over 15 years, and have had nothing but successful and enjoyable experiences (Brooklyn, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Madrid, Andalusia, London, Vienna, Poitiers, Royan, Cannes, etc.). We are very respectful of the property of others and hope the same will be true of you.

Nous sommes ravis de notre échange avec cette sympathique famille parisienne : leur appartement est lumineux, spacieux et confortable. Il bénéficie d’une vue magnifique et il est proche de tous les commerces. Sa proximité avec 2 bouches de métro facilite les déplacements rapides dans Paris et alentours. Les contacts avec Emmanuelle nous ont permis de bien préparer notre échange.
A notre retour, nous avons trouvé notre maison impeccable.
